We are looking for a new colleague to join our small, dedicated team in the role of

Junior Consultant or Consultant (70-100%)

Who are we? We are a Switzerland-based private consultancy company working globally to assess, manage and educate on risks in the field of veterinary public health. Our clients include governments, private industry and international organisations, among others. With such diversity of clients, the scope of our projects is also very diverse and may include topics such as assessments of animal health programs, training for risk assessment and surveillance, or support of strategy development. What will you be doing? You will be involved in a wide range of different projects for different clients. Each project is unique, but typical project activities include data collection and analysis, document reviews, preparation of training materials, delivery of trainings and workshops, stakeholder engagement meetings and writing client reports. Depending on your level of experience, you will also be involved in communication with clients, project management and project acquisition.

Who are you? You are an enthusiastic, communicative, flexible person with a great interest in diving into new topics. You can quickly grasp new information and place it into its larger context. You like translating science into practical applications. You integrate easily into culturally diverse teams and enjoy working independently. You are willing to travel internationally. As you will be working for a consultancy company, you have a client-oriented mindset. Preferably you hold a Swiss, EU or EEA passport.

Which skills and experience do you bring with you? You have a solid understanding of animal health and how it relates to food safety, public health and animal welfare. You have completed a Master or other advanced degree in a relevant field and have at least 2 years working experience. You are comfortable with basic data analysis skills and can effectively communicate complex matters in a clear manner in written and oral form to different types of audiences. When things get hectic, you keep a cool head. You are proficient in English and having working knowledge of at least one additional language is an asset.
