Expressions of Interest are invited from veterinary graduates with an interest in Public Health for an opportunity to enrol in a Research Masters programme within a funded project on “Understanding and Preventing Outbreaks of COVID-19 in Meat Processing Plants- Prepared for the Future”.
A stipend is available for a suitable candidate, who will be expected to participate in risk assessment of operational factors contributing to the transmission of SARS-CoV2 in meat processing plants. A primary degree in Veterinary Medicine is required. Experience in veterinary public health, good communication skills, and an interest of conducting research as part of a multi-disciplinary team are desirable. The position will start as soon as possible after 1st of December 2020.
An excellent standard of written & spoken English is essential.
The successful candidate will be based in the School of Veterinary Medicine, University College Dublin.
