The School of Veterinary Medicine is recruiting for an Ad Astra Assistant Professor in Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). This role will enhance UCD's strategic One Health initiatives through innovative research in AMR, focusing on immunological research relevant to the development of vaccines, diagnostics and host-directed therapies across human and veterinary medicine.

 

This prestigious role is an outstanding opportunity for a suitable candidate to advance their academic career in a dynamic and engaged research-intensive university. Appointees will have a reduced teaching load for up to three years and will receive research support for the first 5 years, typically a PhD studentship and research costs of €5000 per annum.
