On behalf of FVE, we herewith would like to take a moment to highlight the importance of the 4th FVE VetSurvey, and to ask for your active support, not only in responding to the survey yourselves, but also in helping it reach as many veterinarians in the food hygiene and veterinary public health sectors as possible through your professional networks.
The VetSurvey is one of the most important tools FVE has to capture the real situation of the veterinary profession across Europe: working conditions, demographics, challenges, opportunities and future expectations. The data collected feeds directly into FVE's and UEVH’s advocacy work, policy positioning, and dialogue with European and national institutions.
In short, this survey shapes how our profession is understood, represented and defended.
While participation is growing, reaching a truly robust and representative dataset requires collective effort. Every response counts, but every shared survey link multiplies impact. The sections play a crucial role here: you are trusted voices within specific professional communities, fields of practice and areas of expertise. We want to make sure hygienists are well-represented to inform our understanding of their issues and needs.
This is why we warmly encourage you to:
- complete the survey, if you have not already done so (click HERE)
- actively share the survey within your professional networks
- encourage colleagues, peers and contacts to take part and pass it on
By mobilising your networks, you help ensure that the diversity, expertise and experience of veterinarians in VPH across Europe are fully reflected in the evidence we rely on.
Thank you for your commitment, your leadership, and for helping give a stronger voice to our profession.
